Founded in 1891, Drexel University is a top-ranked, urban research university, located in the heart of Philadelphia. Known as an academic center of excellence, entrepreneurship, and innovation, Drexel is a pioneer in technology-enhanced education for working adults. Today, two decades after launching its first online courses, this transformative university offers more than 140 online degree and certificate programs, using the same accredited curriculum and distinguished faculty as it does on-campus. Drexel is among a small group of universities with no cap on the number of veterans who may enroll through the Yellow Ribbon Program, which provides tuition-free education to eligible veterans. Additionally, active military personnel, veterans, National Guard, or Reserve, and their immediate families (including spouses, children and parents) are eligible for a 10–40% tuition savings.
